After continued meetings with our City and County (Health) Officials, as a condition of our permit to conduct the festival within the parameters in consideration of Covid 19 guidelines/protocol, The 2021 Florida Manatee Festival has been postponed to March 27th-28th, 2021.
We were hoping for significant improvement in our infection numbers and hospitalization cases. This has not occurred.
Following two weeks of consultation with the Florida Department of Health, City of Crystal River and the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, the benchmarks we agreed upon regarding case numbers, infection rate, and hospitalizations cannot be met. Therefore, in the interest of the health, safety and welfare of our vendors, visitors and residents, we have reached the decision to postpone the festival until March 27th-28th, 2021.
While we are disappointed to have to make this call, we look forward to producing a larger, less restrictive event during the last weekend in March.
VENDORS: In the event that you are unable to participate with us on March 27th & 28th, please submit a withdraw email to Erika L. Corley, Events@citruscountychamber.com. All registration fees are refundable once we have received your written withdraw email (events@citruscountychamber.com), and will be applied to the payment method utilized upon registering for the postponed January 16th & 17th 2021 festival.
